FYI- replacement batteries are $4 to $5 each. on the plus side, the receiving units do have a manual on/ off buttom, which is still easier to use than unplugging everything. I put a brand new battery in the remote and I STILL have to practically TOUCH the remote to the receiver. It never works more than 1 foot away. It's awful! I don't have a home phone, therefore don't have wireless phones, so I know that it isn't interfering with it. I've moved it to different locations in my condo to no avail. There are no obstructions in my condo. Now I have to go find wireless switches that actually WORK! Rating: 1 / 5 I wouldn’t recommend this item to anyone.
